At the Aozora Gakkou (‘Blue-Sky School’) Japanese immersion day camp, students from ages 8-16 are given the chance to experience Japanese culture and learn Japanese in a multi-age, multi-level immersion setting, located at the Sheridan Japanese School in Sheridan, Oregon. This non-profit program is open to both the students of Sheridan Japanese School as well as students from the surrounding communities. All funds go to support study abroad opportunities and club activities for Sheridan Japanese School students.

4) Coast field trip
5) Additional major field trip (location: TBA)

8) Expanded Obon Festival
8) Expanded class and language-level offerings
9) Expanded staff: from 5 staff members to 8, with over half being native speakers of Japanese)
10)Expanded peer tutor and junior peer tutor opportunities.
Please keep in mind that while classes and workshops may continue for the duration of the three-week camp, each session is unique and will provide your students with an new and interesting experience.
